Hostel, caution deposits, university fees and the bond change the real total. See the total cost of MD.
A college that pays the full stipend can offset much of the fee difference over three years.
Ask the college for the fee, what it covers and the payment schedule in writing before paying anything.

No. Compare the closing rank you can reach, clinical exposure, patient load, stipend actually paid, hostel cost and the bond. A slightly higher fee at a college with better training can be worth more.
Government and private-quota fees in the KEA fee matrix are yearly. The management (“other quota”) figures come from a compiler that does not state whether they are yearly or for the full course, so confirm the exact amount and payment schedule in writing with the college before admission.
Government and private-quota seats are allotted by KEA on rank, so the cheapest seats go first. Management seats closed after 1.7 lakh in every clinical branch in 2025 — the fee, not the rank, is usually the limit there.
