Official NRI tuition is ₹38,40,000 a year for MBBS (2026-27) and ₹1 crore – ₹1.5 crore a year for MD/MS in the six branches where the SSAHE PG brochure 2026-27 lists an NRI fee. In MCC 2026, NRI MBBS seats closed at NEET UG rank 7,25,512 in Round 2; in MCC 2025 they closed between 8,80,528 and 12,03,614. You need valid NRI status proof and the documents MCC asks for in each round.

Who Can Apply for the NRI Quota at SSMC?
MCC publishes the NRI rules and document list for each counselling year, and in 2025 the list changed between rounds — always follow the notice for your round.
Children of NRIs
Candidates whose parent holds valid NRI status, certified by the Indian Embassy or Consulate in that country.
Relatives (MD/MS, 2025)
For NEET PG 2025, MCC allotted NRI seats in priority order: first NRIs and children of NRIs, then wards of NRI relatives — real uncles and aunts, grandparents (first degree) and first cousins (second degree).
Sponsorship rules have changed often since 2024. Before you register, send us your NRI relative’s details and we check them against the current MCC notice.
Documents
Documents for an SSMC NRI Seat
The NRI document list MCC published for NEET UG 2025 (NEET PG 2025 used a similar list). Documents are emailed to MCC within the window for each round, and originals are checked at the college.
- NEET admit card and score card
- Proof of the NRI’s status — passport with visa, residence permit or work permit
- NRI certificate issued by the Indian Embassy / Consulate
- OCI or PIO card, if applicable
- Relationship certificate (family tree) from the competent revenue authority, where the NRI is a relative
- Notarised affidavit from the NRI sponsoring the full course fee and living costs, with an NRE bank account passbook
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
- Birth certificate
- Passport of the candidate or sponsor (optional in the 2025 list)
Documents sent in one round were not carried to the next in 2025 — MCC asked candidates to resubmit. Keep scanned copies ready.
