How to Get MD/MS Admission at SSIMS&RC
There is no direct or management admission at the college. Every seat, including NRI seats, is allotted by MCC.
Qualify NEET PG 2026
Your NEET PG 2026 rank is the only basis for SSIMS&RC MD/MS admission.
Register with MCC
Register for the deemed-university rounds on mcc.nic.in and pay the deemed-university registration fee.
Choose the right college
In choice filling, select “Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, T Begur” — not SSMC Tumkur, which is listed separately.
Get allotted
Seats are allotted in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and the Stray Vacancy Round.
Report with full fees

Cancellation & refund
Before the session starts: annual tuition refunded minus ₹20,000. No cancellation after MCC Round 2 — leaving after that means paying the complete course fee to get your documents back.

Is SSIMS&RC T Begur the same as Sri Siddhartha Medical College Tumkur?
No. Both are constituent colleges of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE), but they are separate colleges with separate seats. Sri Siddhartha Medical College (SSMC) is in Agalakote, Tumakuru. Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (SSIMS&RC) is at T Begur, Nelamangala Taluk, near Bengaluru. Both use the same official MD/MS tuition table.
Is Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences T Begur government or private?
It is a private college. SSIMS&RC is an off-campus constituent college of SSAHE, a deemed-to-be university, approved by a Ministry of Education notification dated 06-11-2025. It is not a government medical college.
