How we compare colleges

Four factors that matter for BDS.

A dental college should be judged beyond just its name. Clinical exposure, faculty, recognition and career pathways all influence the value of your BDS years.

Quality Education

Faculty strength, learning environment, infrastructure and curriculum support for BDS students.

Clinical Exposure

Patient interaction, dental chairs, attached hospital ecosystem and practical hands-on learning.

Career Outcomes

Pathways into MDS, private practice, dental hospitals, corporate clinics and further study.

Recognition

Recognition, affiliation and official programme status should always be verified before admission.

NEET first. Choices next.

Never choose a dental college only from a list. Match your rank, category, budget and counselling route.

BDS Admission Process

How BDS admission works in Karnataka.

Every BDS candidate must qualify NEET-UG. Karnataka counselling is handled through KEA for the applicable state/private seat categories, while MCC handles the UG seat categories notified under its counselling scheme, including All India Quota and participating deemed-university seats.

01

Qualify NEET-UG

A valid NEET-UG qualification is the entry requirement for BDS admission.

02

Register for the right counselling route

Use the official KEA and/or MCC process that applies to your target seat category.

03

Verify documents & enter options

Complete document requirements and order colleges carefully during option entry.

04

Allotment, fee payment & reporting

Follow the round result, pay the notified fee and report within the official deadline.

Fee Structure

BDS fees in Bangalore — indicative categories.

Fees change by college, quota and academic year. Use these only as a planning reference and confirm the latest official fee notification before paying.

Government College Approx. ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 Limited seats; allotment is strongly merit-driven.
Government Quota in Private College Approx. ₹50,000 – ₹1.2 lakh KEA allotment and notified fee structure apply.
Private / Management Category Approx. ₹3 – ₹6 lakh NEET remains mandatory; follow the applicable notified counselling route.
Deemed University Approx. ₹6 – ₹12 lakh MCC counselling applies to participating deemed-university UG seats.
